I did Motoman break in on my Gixer.

One provision is an oil change at 50 miles

MY wife got a new Toyota Sienna and I did an oil change at 75 miles. The oil was clear amber but there was a ton of shiny metal flakes.

Get something new; change the oil like the next day


PS Gixer has 8K has not burned a drop of oil... not a one.

so is mine @18k miles but i didn't do motoman break in.

My point was some forecast dire consequences to the Motoman break in

Regardless your new motor is full of not friendly looking chips of metal when you get it. I can only think they are doing bad thinngs and getting them out is a good thing


Also improper break in is very hard on the stock exhaust systems
