Its a campaign to spread awareness that There are real people on motorcycles.

There is also one about Bicycles that says "Is 1 minute of your time worth your neighbors life".

its a video with people riding around with big lighted signs with their names on them. In one scenario a car starts to change lanes but stops because they notice the big lighted sign in their mirror. Its not that people are actually riding around with those contraptions strapped to their bikes. Its to promote awareness in car drivers for motorcyclists on the road. its the same idea behind "look twice, save a life"

Have you seen the english commercial where the car drivers are continually wiping dead motorcyclists from their windows like snow? I can't locate it right now.

    Re: named riders

Actually this is a highlight of one of the things I really do think we could do better over here. Living in the UK, there were pretty regular 'be aware of motorcyclists' type public awareness adverts - much like this one. You'd see them on all the major channels, and while I'm not sure of the direct impact - it cannot have made the situation worse.

I dont think I've ever seen similar over here in 3+ years

    nope.

Your my buddy and your into nuclear stuff... therefor i was thinking we could fit a mini reactor under my seat. Would sure take the strain off the combination coffeemaker/blender/slushi machine i put on my tailsection, in addition to my name in a ferris wheel looking device that i am currently working on.
