Yeah I got a new bike and I'm so anxious to ride it!

I picked up a Yellow 2000 Ducati 996 Mono.
I got it from the original owner who bought it as a leftover in 2003. Its got some nice mods and a great sounding Arrow exhaust. Only 4k Miles on it too.
No pics yet to post and I won't have the title from the bank until next week sometime....so I can't register it yet.
Yeah, after spending some more time on a RC51 this season, I thought of giving the Twins a try. I have the inline 4 for the track.

Thats not it, but it looks really similar.
Mine has the stock decals and a couple other things different. Like the rims color and front fender.
But you get the general idea from that pic.

You should have gotten an RC51. They are cheaper all around.. Upfront cost, maitenance etc.. Not to mention Honda's are bullet proof, unless Erin is on it!

Oh and a left over RC is far cheaper to purchase!

Over all though your resale calue will hold better.

The main reason I couldn't buy an RC51 is because I would never hear the end of it from Erin.
Its really just the bike I love, they look so nice and the style is unmatched by any bike out there.
Also, I was able to get this bike for about $2k less than I have seen any other 996's selling for. So I actually gotr the bike cheaper than most RC51's are selling for.
I can't wait to go and park it down on Newbury Street in front of Starbucks....Sweet!
....And yeah Mike you can ride her, but so you know I gave up crashing. It got old after awhile, ya know. Its just not as cool as it was in 2001,2002,2003, and 2004.
Hopefully I'll be riding by Tuesday for bike night!
