Myself and John (JohnnyX-14) and some friends of mine were on our way to cruise the kanc this afternoon. We were about 2 miles from the highway and the rider in front was following a white sedan (maybe a little too close?), long story short the car braked to take a left turn, and at 50mph he had no choice but to swerve into the oncoming lane to avoid her. She turned into him and clipped him. I have no idea how, but the bike just bounced off the car and righted itself, and they made it safely into the left hand breakdown lane (by the way he was carrying a passenger). Both seem to be okay, but have some leg injuries, no breaks as they were able to ride back with us. They are at the hospital now getting checked. More Later........

He ended up with a severely bruised/sprained ankle. She seems to be fine. I don't know about the bike, frame def needs to be looked at because he hit that car hard (30ish my guess). Moral of the story he got really lucky everything web as it did, because when I saw him veer left I thought they were both dead. RIDE SAFE! Especially on rt 5......
