Silly mod but I won't need to remove the front seat to charge my battery anymore. I ran some wires from the battery to the rear seat which can be pop open with a key but not the front, required unscrewing 2 bolts, to much work. Wired are tuck away clean after the pictures were taken. What do you think?

Good job bud, but they make wires for that you know......really cheap and less work. Did you use electrical tape?
nice mod, what're you covering the exposed wires with after you're done with it?
Btw, if removing the seat is a pain in the ass, you should try this mod found over at the ZX6R forum

Oh I had no idea they sell wires for that. I just had some wires sitting around from an old HID kit from my car. So I used them.

much better way to go. if you don't cover the end of those wires you risk the positive wire bouncing around and touching the frame or the negative wire and shorting shit out. This wire you just put the cover on the end when not in use. and of course most chargers have that connection already so its easy to hook up.

Good stuff....but like those above said make sure there are no exposed wires. Nice bike by the way!
Maybe its just the pictures, but those wires look pretty dinky to be charging the battery.

By the way thats an awesome tank pad....
Just curious why you feel you need to charge the battery?
I do by all means understand some people keep their bikes on tenders all the time but, is it really necessary? If you are riding the bike a couple times a week I don't see a need for it. Even one good ride a week should be more than enough during the warmer months.
My dealer puts them on the bikes before delivery. Use the one from my tender on the lawn tractor and swap back and forth all winter. Wait there was no winter and I never had to charge the bike!

I love the green, good color choice. Any more mods down the pipeline I hear those shocker stickers are all the rage
