im at the HD shop in Rochester..

curious if you have seen the state DMV inspectors on your shop more often, the guys next door at RMS told me theyve been in there several times recently and gave me the impression that inspections stations were going to be watched more closely for compliance with proper inspection

he came in sometime this fall (oct/nov) and gave us the heads up that some things were changing, checked that we had all the necessary equip, and told us to get whatever we didnt have soon to be in compliance. he also told us that we would probably be seeing him again in jan/feb to be sure we got everything. thats about it.
