I am lookin to spend around $350 on a nice Arai. My mom did it, Offspring did it, Downtime6 did it, and I'm sure I can swing it.

I do think a $500-$700 Arai that you got for $400 is better than a $500 Shoei that you got for $300. Just a matter of preference and brand loyalty; deals can be found for either, it's just that Arai can't be found online.
