Eh, I'll do what I can do to get it done.

I've already got the white primer down and my rear number plates masked off. Been working on it in the mornings before work.

Once the white's all done (another coat or two) I'll throw it all back on the bike, get my tape lines down & get the black on the belly pan, then the number plate on the front.

i HIGHLY suggest the little plastic gun trigger thingy that they sell at wal-mart for like $5. it might even be made by Krylon. worth every penny. saves your fingers from cramping and sprays real nice. doesnt push the button all the way down so it really cuts down on runs. it clips right to the top of the can.i also HIGHLY recommend a good primer. i used grey and one coat covered everything. i tried white but it didnt work as well and got a blotchy finish.

Way ahead of ya Got it at the local True Value for 8 bucks, but I probably saved 3 bucks in gas by not going to Wal-mart

Heading back to True-Value now to pick up some more white primer, some black, some red & three shades of blue.

I think I might even seriously ask them if they'd like to sponsor a local racer, since I go there all the time & now that I think of it, red/white/blue are true value colors

Man, this painting business takes a long time.... And I'm totally 1/2 assing it, too. Just sanded everything down & painted it w/ a couple coats of white primer... i'm not even gonna bother w/ any white finish coats

It ain't gonna be all that pretty, but it's already better than Hobbs Automotive Red.

I just masked off the stick-on number plates I had on there before & painted around em... I figure I'll just deal w/ it next spring when/if I go expert.

On the right side of the lower there is a bunch of red still showing in the rear half... did you not need to prime that part since you're going over it with black?

that's gonna be black... I was runnin low on primer so I skimped on the belly pan.

All the white is primer... I'm just gonna leave it like that, I kinda like the flat white look

Nick came over & together we sprayed down just about all the color today

Needs a little bit of touching up here & there, but it's just about done The tail needs two more colors, I gotta fix the color on the tank and the number plates are getting red stripes around the edges to match the fender.
