Does anybody know of a company that does roadside assistance for motorcycles? Kind of like AAA for bikes. I checked with AAA and they do not cover bikes. Good to have some backup if you get a flat or have engine trouble and need to get towed.
I think some extended warrantys do it , dunno , they are kinda expensive tho . .
I've heard of this...
I'll find it!!!
Please hold...

I think Honda Rider Club members get roadside assistance as one of their benefits? But that only helps if you're riding a honda.. hehe... any chance the name chicharone has anything to do with
chicha(R1) ??

For flats, I carry a "Stop 'N Go" brand tire plugger and a small Walmart Compressor under my passenger seat. Works great. I changed the plug on the compressor so that it connects to the SAE plug I use for my electric vest.
For mechanical breakdowns, I ride Japanese bikes and haven't ever experienced a break down. Seriously.
Should mention that my Japanese bikes have had problems but have never stranded me.
Hmmm, my dad bought me AAA as a gift a while back and he said his agent said it covered the bike?![]()

found that out when my replacement (bad) battery let me down and I gave 'em a call. sure 'nuff, when I went back and read the membership mumbo-jumbo, they specifically don't cover bikes.
guess that's related to their being the American Automobile Association...![]()

With the AMA MOTOW it covers any bike regardless if it's yours or a friends bike. Besides the money spent on joining the AMA is used to fight for your rights as a motorcyclist , regardless if it street or dirt riding you enjoy. Just my .02 worth

AMA Motow all the way. Like Need4Speed stated - there are good reasons for being an AMA member to begin with.
If you get the Motow Plus (I have) it also covers your cars, and the signifcant other driving any of the cars (or bike). All this and costs about the same as AAA membership (used to have, but it's bye, bye now).
I have not had to use it yet, so cannot speak about service. [knocking on wood].
