The 450X has way more poke than can be utilized by most in it's stock configuration. The flywheel effect is much lighter than the WR's. Lots of nice, quiet power. Feels lighter than the WR when underway, and not as cramped. The suspension is not overly soft, and it is very well balanced. Gear spacing works well, too. And it works fine right out-of-the-box, vs. the WR's greenie bullshit. The WR feels a bit narrower between the knees, but it still has a steel frame?

Yup, I'm pretty sure I compared the CRF450R and CRF450X and not a WR

I gurantee I can put down quicker times around the dirt track on my CR250.
I love the lightweight nimbleness of a 250 Motorcross dirtbike.
A fourstroke has got a great steady power curve, But a 2 stroke just comes alive and jumps out from under ya.....right Jay
4 strokes are great for motards though
I gotta agree, I love the 2 smoker. When that power kicks, holy shit does it kick. KB's CRF is nice, but not for the hoolaganism I want to get into in the dirt, and at a fraction of the price I'm way more satisfied. You can bang around the city on a supersport just as well as a motard. Just take the belly pan off to get that extra clearance. If I had a motard where i live I'm sure i'd land my ass in jail in a matter of days. What can I do with a motard that I can't do with a SS? Hop curbs, median strips, make use of bike paths, sidewalks, alleys, parks, gardens......I think you get the picture.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

The 450X is not as far removed from the 450R, as the WR is from the YZ.

.... I can't decide.... Thank you, that is all
that's why I still have my SV, I can't make up my mind what to get next. A big adventure bike will be my next bike, then prolly a cruiser, or a motard, or a dirtbike, or a gold wing big enuf to pull a trailer with a motard or my SV, or even a couple bikes, or a sidehack bike

At least the nekid SV is competent enuf for multipurpose duty
