    Man arrested after motorcycle accident

    Wednesday, November 15, 2006 - Updated: 01:30 AM EST

    WALPOLE -- A Norwood man is facing a drunken driving charge after police said he crashed his motorcycle into a fence Saturday evening.

    Ken Major, 37, of 410 Normandy Drive, was driving his 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle at 6:31 p.m. when he went off the road in front of 107 Polley Lane and hit a fence, according to Deputy Police Chief Scott Bushway.

    Major was taken to a hospital in Boston, Bushway said, but information on where he went and his current medical condition was not available yesterday.

    Bushway said Major was not arrested since he went to the hospital, but he will be issued a summons on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a motorcycle license, driving to endanger and speeding.
