Oh, and just so everyone else knows...
they are putting pipes under 112....towards 118 and Lost river...for the entire summer....
riping up the road, mostly dirt, and one lane most of the time...
most of the time its slick mudd too...really not fun!
Getting back into the game! Looking for my next bike!
There are some really nasty sewer caps( unmarked) about 8 inches above grade on Rt 3 southbound going down into Concord, Nh.
Real fun to see at night with a split second to react.

I saw a big turtle on Tallant Road in Pelham last week and there was some sand at the end of Prevere Road in Raymond.![]()
North Carolina FR711. is a forest access road that is supose to be and "improved" paved surface... it probably was when they built 20 years ago but has never been maintained. there is sand & stones and potholes in almost every corner over the 15 mile length from Wayah Road to White Oak Road

WHere the hell does my excise tax go????????
I hate tallant road in pelham, actually I just hated when I had to work there. As you all know I'm sure, Rt 3 South sucks going from nashua to 95. 495 near rt3 also sucks with grooved payment and the like.

Route 9 from the VT border (At the Chesterfield Bridge/Rotary) is quite messy headed east, not as bad going west. Bumpy, uneven pavement. And delays if you have bad timing, but they're not too bad these days - they were worse last summer.
Route 9 in Spofford, in the vicinity of Chesterfield Hill all the way into Keene, they are paving. Thye are doing an excellent job of keeping things safe, but any given day will bring scarified pavement and maybe some blasting. Delays are probable between the hours of 7:30am and 4:30pm.
It can take as long as an hour to get from Brattleboro to Keene on Route 9, a safe bet is about 45-minute these days.
GO TO TONY'S TRACK DAYS!
I'm Bikeless.
if you're traveling southbound on 495 & stop at the rest stop a few miles beyond rte 3, have fun getting back onto the highway, the lane that takes you out of the rest stop turns into grooved pavment, which isn't the big problem... the big problem is that lane turns into the breakdown lane & stays like that for quite some time. and the only way to get back onto the normal lanes is hop up onto the normal pavment via a sharp 3-6 inch slope.
that was a major pain in the ass when you've got traffic comin up on you at 75mph and you're doin 20-25 so you can see a spot where the jump up to normal pavment isn't that big

495 in the lawerence/lowell/chelmsford/westford area really sucks. Major pot holes, lotsa grooved pavement, not really a happly place for mc-ists!

Just in case you ever head into boston. Storrow drive is being done over so a majority of storrow drive west has been torn up. Be careful of the dirt, grooves, sew covers and bumps now if you pass through.
