I see on the site that you don't hafta pre-register for the first school in August (the 16th). Is that right? All ya gotta do is show up early and sign up?

If I'm gonna do that with ya, I OBVIOUSLY gotta get some track time in. A LOT of track time. Once I complete the class and get my certificate, I can do the practices on Thursday's right? This is something I really wanna do, but if I can't get the time in I don't wanna hinder the 'team'. Ya know?

After the Penguin school you will receive a permit to enter the track on Thursdays (product testing and open practice), Friday's afternoon practice, and be eligible for Saturday's rookie race.
After completion of your rookie race you will get a license, once you have a license all you need to do is pay a $50 fee every year for renewal.
Maybe we could both go to the Aug school, I could use the advanced course.

I don't intend to get involved with racing any more than I already am. Really, that's not what I'm into. I'm happy doing what I'm doing with Degs & Gerard. I've wanted to do the school for a long time now, and it's getting about time to just do it....
My intent was to do the school, and indulge in some open practice Thursdays (probably once a month). I'd probably enter a race or two a year (okay, THREE) just so I could qualify for the endurance races...
With an addition going on the house soon (woo hoo!), two kids, and another quite possibly on the way (Whoops! Did I just say that?), there's NO WAY I could swing the race scene for a few more years AT LEAST...

We've wanted one more all along, just didn't have any place to put HIM. Once we're certain we're getting the addition (and we're 90% sure of it now), we'll be getting busy again. We've talked to a coupla peeps about designs and costs and shit, now we just gotta make sure we're within the ordinances so we can break ground...
