Not sure where this should go - JC feel free to move it as you see fit.
Went yesterday as I could not wait for the SRNE track day.
$200 (compared to SRNE's 175). About 45 people there total - very little track density. About 15 people on the track at a time.
8am - 5pm split as follows:
8-9 unpack, sign up and go through tech.
9-10:30 track walk with Eric Wood. Best inside info you can get. He basically walks his line all the way around the track, explains reference points and such.
11-12 follow the leader around the track, stop in a few spots and commentary by Eric again.
1pm-5pm 3 groups rotating 15 minute sessions.
In general very well run day. Very little restrictions on what you can do. In two faster groups passing was allowed everywhere. People rode very clean inspite of being allowed to do whatever they wanted. Instructors were very helpfull, but you had to chase them down. 3 crashes that I remember, all very minor. One guy had to hide behind air fence in turn two, as he was waiting for a chance to cross the track. ;?)
Multiple ambulances, so the day did not stop when one guy had to be taken to the hospital with broken colar bone. Only two corner worker stations, so if you get a yellow that was for 1/2 of the track.

I had an opportunity to instruct yesterday but couldn't get away from work. DAMMIT! Sounds like a perfect day -- would've been a good opportunity to get the R1 out on the track for the first time....

Could not have asked for better weather that is for sure. Around 80 degrees, very cool in the garages. Not too brutal on the track.![]()
