So I've done a little bit of searching and the best I've come up with is that as long as the bike has a 17 digit VIN and will pass inspection (lights, horn, etc) VT will allow me to plate it.
The bike I'm looking at is not currently streetable, but I know that that could be easily changed (winter project)
Anyone have experience getting a Honda XR650R on the road in VT? Help is much appreciated...
I had a Yam IT250 Enduro. The only thing I added to pass VT inspection was a honk-honk bicycle squeeze horn.

You want to look into putting an electric fan on that. They will overheat if they sit in traffic.
if you want some tastey bits for it http://www.motorcycleaddicts.org/sal...7-31-10-a.html

Good to know, thanks. The street riding I'd be looking to do would mostly be to/from where I'd go off roading, hopefully not too much traffic.
Thanks, I've been looking all over the net and there are some awesome upgrades you can get.
Cool, thats what I wanted to hear. I most the stuff I'd have to ad, and my local shop is pretty helpful when I'm home.
