Im thinking about getting a pocket bike for a pit bike during race weekends and just for general dicking around. I dont want to spend a million dollars and have an R7 replicabut I don't want a piece of shit. I was looking at http://www.minipocketrockets.com/ but I have a feeling those are probably shitty.
Thoughts?

Yeah, they are shit and you get what you pay for but in all honesty, for what you want it for it's probably the best thing.
If I were to by any type of wheels to get me around the pits, it'd be a small or mini quad. It'll help out more than just pit transportation, getting tires and fuel and other parts you may have to get for the weekend. It's hard to carry that stuff on a mini bike![]()
Yamaha
look around and you can find some honda elite scooters for short money usually
even a new Zuma is only like $1300. you can probably get a used scooter for what you pay for one of those little bikes and you can carry a passenger or tow a little trailer behind it for those tire swap trips

<<---- some of the most fun you can have on 2 wheels.. pocket bikes are cool..if you get a good one...but are still limited with what you can do with them... you can do anything on a 50..they rule.... i think everyone should have one
there are tons and tons of aftermarket parts too...
also getting parts on those cheapo pocket bikes is very hard and they break a lot...
If you buy a pit bike can I use your bicycle? My goped won't start since Heath looked at it.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
that was just gay anyways!Originally posted by hessogood

Too bad you won't ever find a pimp 1982 Honda ATC like I have.
I love my little Pit Beast Death Machine, but it also broke down for awhile after Heath looked at it.
....Word of Advice....Keep Heath away from your pit bike, whatever you get!

they also have motard tires for them..
If your going to get a pocketbike the ones with the removeable swingarm are the far better bikes. They are refered to as RSA or lucky7 bikes.
xpbikes.com sells them for$189 plus $40 shipping and they have every part and upgrade in stock. I buy most of my PB stuff from them. If you wanted to sneak in a few PB races that's a good way to go.
If you just want a great deal I have a Hydra A/C (slightly higher seat and 2" longer)with less than a gallon of fuel through that I'll sell for $125 that has an upgraded pipe on it and CNC aluminum pegs. I have it set up as my backup race CAG for racing at Sugarhill Speedway. No front fairing and a little touch up paint courtesy of DHL shipping. I'm moving up to open class there next season.
If your looking for the ultimate wheelie down pit lane bike, New Hampton Auto in NH sells XR110cc 4stroke 4 speed mini motards for $700

hey you have dibs but if you pass i have 2nd dibs, i mostly want one to paint it and try to make a replica of my bike so i want to see how similar the shape is, also i am a little too big for the really small one so one slightly bigger would probably be more comfortable.
Ok I have the pictures for you guys.![]()

whoever wants it send me an email so we can figure out a place to meet or I can give you my address.. My email is "sailplane@rcn.com"
Hopefully going to look at this one this week, I can't pass up a deal like this!

Well it depends on what your looking for as in price. I raced them last season and have run a few races at Englishtown this year. I own 2 Polini pocket bikes. One is the 911 50cc GPR liquid cooled race bike and the other is the 910 40cc 6.2hp air cooled race bike. Both are awesome bikes 911 being a midi size and the 910 being a mini (a couple inches difference). I'm thinking of selling the 910 but they are not in the Cag price range. I'm looking to get $750 for my 910. It's painted the Smoking Joe Race bike colors and has a polished frame. If interested PM me. If your looking into the higher end bikes check out this site: www.cycleforums.com and click on pocketbikes.
