j/k, what I want to know is, given that you ride an unfaired bike pretty much all winter, what exactly do you wear to keep warm? I know there are tons of options, but clearly you found a system that works...
"Balls," I said. "Never mind the track. The track is for punks. We are Road People. We are Cafe Racers."

if it is 20° or colder I start with extreme artic long johns & a tee shirt + electric vest then extreme artic shirt over the vest. ... JR gear directly over that... as temps rise I go from the extrem artic stuf to regular long jons & regular sweatshirt or long sleve cotton
on my feet I wear sorels (I have a customised shifter) snowmobile gloves & heated grips, balavlava and Arai helmet.
I really don't wear all that much, I'd like to get a snowmobile helmet with heated visor.
one of the keys to keeping warm is to disipline yourself to keep speeds under 70 or under 60 if it is colder than 20°, the KLR handguards make a big difference on the windblast my hands get too.
