Time to take these out to play!My '07 R6S, and my brother's Boulevard.
A little BBQ for lunch at American BBQ on 1A in Rowley. If you haven't been to this place yet, make the trip.
And some glorious backroads. Screw you, winter!
please don't come back
Hope everyone here has a safe, shiny-side-up season!![]()

looks like u had fun i think im going to take my bike out on wednesday supposed to be around 60
Wow, those pictures are all way too familiar. Is that storage facility in Salisbury? I might be friends with the guy that owns the place. American BBQ in Rowley is damn good, thank god they finally reopened that bridge on 1A huh? I spend a huge portion of my summers at the marina on the rowley side of that bridge, and work and live on the other side. Bit of a PITA that was. Those last 2 pics are on a great road. If you're out at night and feel like some privacy for whatever reason the hill on the left as you get into those woods provides a killer view of Newbury/Newburyport/etc after sunset. Easy walk to the top. Some good MTBing stashed in there too.
I can't fully explain it, but looking at those pics had more of an effect on my "enough of winter already" mindset than pulling out my dirt bike and doing the top end yesterday did. Nice pics, sharp bike, thanks for the post.
Hm... this whole thing is way too nice.for getting to those roads and spots before I did.

I'm jealous.... I want to go riding. WAAAAHHHH.
Do those roads have any curves in 'em???
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Haha, well I ride like an old man and don't take advantage of them, but they certainly do.I'm a dork, so here's that ride via GPS:

I'm headed out in about 5 minutes for the same basic route actually. Gonna be niiice tomorrow as well, may have to (cough, cough) call in sick.![]()
Yup, that's the place in Salisbury right across from G&G.$65/mo for two bikes all winter was well worth it, though I wish I was lucky enough to have a garage.
That whole back area of Newbury is fantastic, I love that big sweeping loop by the reservoir, it's photo-op heaven. I am SO glad they re-opened the 1A bridge as well - having to detour down Rt1 in that shitty 55mph section was just a pain in the ass, so now it's a straight shot from where I live (Amesbury) to Crane's beach and up through Essex. Nice roads, plenty of great places to stop and grab chow and not much traffic too.
I'll be at those same spots in about 30 minutes, so feel free to bring the hate - or swing out and join us.I'm hard to miss, I give the maniacal biker-wave to everyone regardless if they're on a sporty or a Harley with "FUCK YAMAHA" on the windshield.
I just love to ride.

Yeah, my buddy Rick owns that joint, and the place in the Expo in Byfield off 95. He's a good dude.
Sweeping loop by the res, you're not talking about this one on Moulton St, are you? http://maps.google.com/maps?q=byfiel...,0.030513&z=15
If so, one of my favorite roads.
I'll have to settle for hating at the moment, I don't have a street legal bike ATM.Seems like you ride that section often, if you want to swing by the marina for a break sometime let me know.
Don't even get me started on G$G...![]()
That's the one.Just got back from it actually - if you're at the marina and you have a pot of coffee on, I'll gladly swap you a cup o' joe sometime and you can take the R6 for a zip.
Here's a couple of pose-o-matic shots from tonight that make me look cooler than I actually am, and the route we took.

Man, I miss that roadOn 2 wheels anyway. The boats are not in the water yet, but Ill let you know when they are. I work in Newburyport and live in Dover, so it's not at all uncommon for me to spend worknights on the boat, as well as weekends. Sounds like I'll run into you there for sure. I look forward to it.
coming in from Main St that wrap around the res. is amazing. You can see any oncoming traffic or parked cars for the entire stretch. Makes for a very fun loop!
Glad you're having fun out there! Can't wait to get another street legal bike put together.
I signed up for that tracking site after seeing the one above. It's pretty cool. Here is my tracks from my ride today. Was also my first ride with the garmin hooked up!
Todays ride for me!

Absofreakinlutely. I'm not much of a drinker, but don't let that hold you backIt's good to have someone to handle the harbor masters & CG on baotrides/fishing trips full of shitfaced people. The marina is a damn cool place to hang too. Boat house, we keep one boat in a slip and have 40-60' of priviate floating dock about a 1 minute boatride from the docks, within site of the docks and the marina parking lot, for the other boats. It's a good setup, I'll let you know when they're all in and you can swing on by.
