Was the bike on the ground when they tugged the bars? Yeah like THAT tells you anything. You need to get the front off the ground (No weight on it) to see if the head is loose!

Tell us who the dealer is ?
My (Fireball's old) F4i doesn't shake at all. I'm pretty sure his 600RR doesn't either.
My first bike, '97 FZR that had been down by previous owner, did though.
The dealer was Honda Suzuki World in Warwick RI. I bought the bike there because they had a good reputation. Hehe
It was on the ground in the parking lot when they checked the steering head for play.
I'll try to re-torque the steering head bearings soon. Is it ok to use a regular hydraulic jack under the engine to lift the front end off the ground???
Thanks alot guys..

any jack will work, metal on metal is slippery though, best to use some wood between the metal. If the bike is under warranty, I would suggest calling American Honda. The reps are usually very good, alot of former wrenchs. I worked at Bettencourts for 12 yrs, years ago. If we had a prob we couldn't solve, the honda peeps took care of it. I even got a couple of free race motor replacements from the reps, that the customers had blown up {no warranty on race stuff}![]()

Honda Suzuki World sucks. I would not let them touch my bike. I asked them to check if all of the recalls were done on my TLS and the guy didn't even know what I was talking about. I would go to Bettencourts or Razee's if my bike was under warranty.
If it keeps buggin ya, I believe when you purchase a new Honda, you get enrolled automatically in the HRCA. HRCA includes emergency service at the closest dealer to your home and towing.
If its the one in Warwick then ride somewhere else and call. Just have back transportation.
Just say your too scared to drive it cause it shakes, you think it is unsafe and that should fix that.
HRCA is like AAA for Hondas

Point is, it is a brand new bike and your not comfortable! End of story. Piss everyone and their mother off until you are comfortable throwing a leg over that thing. You could check the bearings and rotors yourself and at least take those to potential symptoms off the list. If it is cured with a turn of the headstock then great. Otherwise get on their asses, and contact the area representative until it's fixed.

I'm surprised nobody has asked yet, but do you happen to have a nervous twitch in your right arm?
