Question about inspection - NH

So this is probably a silly question, I just got my bike inspected today, and it’s the first one I’ve owned.
My question - they didn’t put the stickers on the plate themselves, and I’m wondering what the placement is supposed to be? Is it bottom left/right month/year location like on car license plates? I’m in NH
