Cool... the results is about what i expected. i bet the wingtip vorteces & the blast from the jet fucked w/ the guy on the R1 pretty good as it went whippin past him.

If I remember correctly the wake turbulence doesn't start until after the plane leaves the ground.

The plane was like 1/4 mile ahead of the jet probably when it took off, he was probably OK.

newp.... it's there. the wingtip vorteces just arent as bad when the wheels are on the ground cuz there's not much angle of attack and i'm sure w/ that airfoil, since it's a lighter high speed jet & not a 747 that it wouldn't be much, but it's definintly still there. But when air is moving over the wings, it's creating lift... and where there's lift, there's turbulence, usually in the form of wingtip vorteces....

but yeah, I'm sure the jet wash was MUCH more of a factor though which is why he was all the way on the other side of the runway

I notice at the end, the guy was still driving the Porsche, but the bike rider was on foot.

I liked how the R1 led the first half, though.

in the end i think they'r all equal except the porch and the jet. it never lead the jet or catches up. at least R1 lead the way. Porsch catches up w/ R1 once over what? 180mph? so let's see. to sum it up, the jet has usable power in the air with turbine engine. porsch is good at top speed? and R1 is quick launch. why they even bother?
