RC51 steering

does anyone know if a sp2 triple tree will fit in a sp1's place i stripped the treads on the orignal one and found a few replacements but can only find sp2 ones

The steering stems are different. Dont remember if the fork diameters are the same or not.

Not so sure Id agree with this anymore. Most of the guys that knew anything about the bike left long ago.

i went through a few old posts and i guess the stem it self is bigger and a few other things. i guess ill just order a new one
