Confidence? Yea the pipe is ALL about more confidence. When you're posted up on Lansdowne Street checking out the laaaadiiieeez you can bet your ass they aren't gonna hustle up and chit-chat with that stock can on there. No sir. Nothing says "I got it going on" like a aftermarket exhaust and once you start bagging the babes your confidence will be firing off like a 4th of July rocket (among other things)
So again. Pipe on Ninja 250 > Trackday

the way I perceive the situation
sales people are like whores, it's their job to sell you something you don't need and make you feel good about it
if you dislike sales people, cause you think they are slime, your probably happy masterbating too

Ok, let me try to answer all the back and forth going on.
The kid was interested in the track idea. Just w
s a bit unsure about getting way up to NH
If the parts guy was truly a good salesman he would have played on the track day idea and offered up ideas like frame sliders, dampers, shark skins, sticky tires, etc. Or maybe even
gear, since all he was rocking was a helmet.
Convince my boss that I am useless? Feel free. Do you want his number? I have been learning/doing my trade since I was 13. Have only had 3 jobs. One that was just a stupid job, one that was the first contractor I worked for, and until now the same contractor for 7 years. If I sucked
at what I did I would be somewhere else or would have been fired, wich has never happened...yet.
I do not like liars
If the only job I could get was in sales, I would starve. I'm a bad lair and don't like to do it.
Yes, the best answer would have been another 1000cc would be what he needed to make him faster.
I think the new 250 is sharp and dumb chicks won't know the difference, and will drop their painties just the same
Ducdave was up WAY to late last night. Most likely drinking
Yes I do enjoy masterbatting![]()

I like to masterbate
well then he went to the wrong place to ask howto ride faster. i only goto parts store to buy stuff for maintenance.

I couldn't agree more. Integrity is key. People will buy something once, and never come back, if they were lied too. It takes honesty and integrity to keep people as loyal customers. something we do very well. We've been in the motorcycle business for 35 years.
MY POV is obvioulsy a little bit skewed. The original post made it out like all salespeople are slime and every dealership is a bunch of theives. There are always going to be deslerships that fit the sterotype. that's how sterotypes are started. Fortunately ours does not fit...

Yeah...well, according to ChR1s, if you work hard to maintain your reputation...
...you are stupid.I suppose if that's all you had going for you, you had to work with it. Often, a stupid worker is a hard worker.
Unlike him who apparently doesn't believe a reputation is worth maintaining which makes him ...brilliant...???![]()

Lie down with dogs, raise up with fleas.
It expresses the notion that flaws in human nature are contagious; Kham is suggesting that the bad traits seen in other dealerships will over time be found in yours due to your association with them.
It would be a great answer if track days were $50 a piece and around the corner. Five days of riding for $1000+ is pretty pricey for most of us. Then there's travel time and days off from work. Real cost for a single day could be on the order of $500.
Track days will never be a substitute for street riding. Plus there's the sheer randomness of street rides and discovering new places.
Sometime the track day positivism strikes me like something from an episode of CHiPs where Ponch and John catch the rebel kid and turn him on to Track Days and everyone is happy.
I guess until I break into a bracket where I am paying the alternative minimum tax they will be something occasional but neither essential nor frequent.
