Could be an hour away ( south ) where I am goin to stay. I did do the search thing and found some . I wanted to know if the roads were really beat up after the winter . I did App Gap last year , soo much fun . How is it this year ? If anyone here wants to give out any secrets ( S Burlington area - Camel HUmp etc . ) ..... that would be GREATThanks

The App Gap got torn up pretty badly over the winter. I haven't ridden it in a couple of months, so it may have settled a bit, but in April there were cracks in the middle of turns literally wide enough to swallow a front tire. If you ride it, be very cautious. Keep your speed down and brake early.
Rt 110 from East Barre to South Royalton is a lot of fun. So is Rt 232 past Groton State Park. Rt 125 from Hancock to Middlebury is great (bumpy on the east side of the Middlebury Gap, but freshly repaved on the west side). Rt 73 from Brandon to Rochester is nice as well (not as good in the opposite direction due to some badly deteriorating pavement in the westbound lane).

Mark, the App Gap actually isn't that bad anymore. It's smoothed out a lot, and I haven't seen any cracks like that. Definitely a fun ride.
