    Unless you can get really good deal on a VFR I doubt you'd have money left over to get goodies... don't the Sprint & VFR cost about the same amount? I have no idea if it's easy to talk a deal on a Sprint, it is on the VFR, it's selling like crap. But you can't get a good deal on the bags, MSRP is $1000... and they are basically like buying parts, there are none sitting unsold to talk a deal on, it doesn't matter how many VFRs are getting sold. You get the bags free with the Sprint don't you? However you definitely ought to be able to talk $1000+ off a VFR as they are sitting on the floor forever, over a year from what I understand.

    Do you do your own maintenance? How many miles were on the Sprint? If I
    were in your shoes I'd get another Sprint. If I totalled my VFR tomorrow I'd probably get a Sprint.

    BMW = much more expensive, higher maintenance, heavier
    Concours = more expensive, heavier (Maintenance is a question, but probably good)
    VFR = similar price, higher maintenance, less torque, suspension is less adjustable, bags are extra cost
    ST3 = more expensive?, higher maintenance?
    Multistrada = more expensive?
    Good list, probably pretty accurate from what I can tell. You're right the VFR is running pretty close in price to the Sprint.

    I've been getting shop maintenance and don't be fooled, Triumph maintenance isn't exactly cheap. I could be doing more to save money in that regard, but you know how that story goes.

    The '07 Tiger is a fantastic choice. I'd have one if I could, but payments on one thing at a time for me.

    That Sprint RS that KillBill posted is a good deal. I'd buy an RS in a second if I were better at reigning myself in, but I can't own a fast bike or I'll quickly lose my license. Really nice bike.
