so last night i was riding home in the 33 degree weather & noticed my bike was running a little warm... about 168-169 degrees.... on my way to work today (about 55-60 degrees) it was running at its normal temp range of 155-157... yo what's up w/ that? same thing tonight, but it wasn't as high... it was in the 163-165 range
my only guess is that the colder \denser air made for a leaner a/f mixture, which makes for higher cylinder temps... but i don't think that's correct, is it?![]()

Maybe your coolant is turning into a snowcone?
Water from track day?

Suf Daddy.
that was a thought, but it's got antifreeze in there... and i'm sure over 1/2 an hour of 6k rpm running would melt any potential frozen spots in the lines, no?
