Just finished removing all the nests! Took her outside for a good rinse. Plugged up and taped up everything important. Doesn't look like any critters nibbled on any of the wires or anything, so I think I'm in the clear. But I still have to double check everything and throw some new lithium grease in all the clips anyway.

Here are the super fun nests I had to remove... Notice the charred and gnawed remains of the air filter.
During removal of the tank I accidentally snapped one of the fuel hose couplers coming from the fuel pump.
I was able to save the threads on the fuel pump housing using a dremel and pick to remove the threads of the damn coupler. What a dumb idea to use plastic...

Indeed, they are a suck.
