Went for a ride on an F2 just now...

...as a passenger (yeah, yeah...nut to butt ). And I don't know if it's because I sold my bike a couple weeks ago, or if it's because it's just nice out tonight, but being out on two wheels was GREAT.

The open air, wind blowing, extremely compact vehicle size, being able to see all the way around you in a head check, the thrill of acceleration; all of it was fantastic.

Waiting until I have a full-time job, to get another (newer!) bike, is going to kill me

Does anyone else ever suffer from bike-withdrawal?

Even if you don't get to ride your own because it's being serviced?

i think everyone here can agree on the fact that i was a bitching little sally for two months after my get-off at VIR. i finally rode this past weekend & it was the first time really gettin out there since then. i DID go out for about a mile but stayed in the city just to try out the woodcraft clip-ons, but that ride was cut short due to a flat front.

sold my 929 and had with withdrawls in a few days..... now I have a 600rr which was cheaper all the way around.. Insurance is now $301 a year for a 12 month policy vs. $444 for 6 months.

Yeah, the weather's nice, the roads are clear, I see 3 parked outside of work, and there were groups galore, out on memorial day. During a family trip, I even saw someone in Canada with the same bike that I used to have!

Yeah, Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Which I suppose is why I'm a NESR post whore. If I can't go riding becuase I have to be at work, then the *least* I can do is make fun of Nikon and Pete.
