    Re: RIP Toriano, my friend...

Really sad news Alex and i am very sorry for your loss. It sounds like he was a really amazing kid and hearing your story about the weekend and his outlook is uplifting and disheartening all at the same time. I love watching what i can find of the rookie cup as those guys offer some of the best racing i have seen in a while. Just keep in mind how happy he was doing what he was doing. Not that many people get to do what they love and for those lucky few any price is worth it.

You helped a young man achieve some of his goals and for that you should be very proud of yourself. God Speed young man.

    Alex,

Sorry to hear of the loss of Toriano. It is an incredible thing that you were there for him through all of this and must have been amazingly tough on you. My thoughts are with you and his family during this terrible time.

R.I.P. Toriano! Do a couple laps for all of us.

    Sorry for your loss.

I said this when we all lost Alex earlier this year, that a tragedy in our sport like this is made even harder when the event happens and hits so close to home. And is made even harder taking into account the age of these kids.

Your write up was beautiful, Alex. I'm sure Toriano is up there somewhere nodding his head with a little grin at you for that.

God bless. And God speed Toriano.

    Mike

I was very sorry to see this on RRW. I can't imagine how hard it is for his family, even when they know how much he loved racing.

Alex, I hope you find some comfort in knowing you made him happier for his last weekend racing.
