Almost back on the road!!!

Was hoping to have it on the road before the anniversary of my crash (7/2/05) but, she's almost ready! Just waiting for the damned fork dust boots to get here....

Pretty much everything chrome on this bike had surface rust. Lots of time with a dremel tool!
New tires
Rear brake: changed out fluid and bled line
Front brakes: re-built both calipers (seals, guide boots, bleeder caps) New master cylinder reservoir, cover and o-ring. New fluid and bled lines.
Forks: New oil seals and dust boots. Replaced left lower section. New fork oil. (ATF)
Alternator: Replaced rotor with used. New stator.
K&N air filter
Exhaust: Kerker 4 into 1 (replaced 2 mounting studs, drilled out collars, new gaskets)
New Horns (132 dB freeway blasters) the old horns!
Temporary volt gauge
Fabricated center stand bracket (center stand hits chain due to new exhaust)
Misc cleaning/ polishing of chromed and painted surfaces.
Added LED brake light

To Do List:
New side cover: alternator side
New chain
Fine tune engine and carburetors
Progressive fork springs
Rear shocks

Given a choice, I'd go with a nice shiny new bike! It's been quite the experience restoring this beast! Won't know how well she runs til I hit the road with 'er.....

Yeah, I was that guy on that ride a while back with the silver '03 SV650 and the ridiculous horns! I'd honk the horn to say "bye" to the guys peeling off from the group and startle myself!
