BRP Can-Am Spyder Roadster
Yea, I just got to take a BRP Spyder for a ride. This thing was FUN FUN FUN! Not in a motorcycle kind of way though. It steers somewhat like a car. Power steering, 5 speed. The steering requires VERY little input (at speed). The transmission is flawless. 990cc Rotax v-twin out of the RSV Mille...
When the BRP test ride trailer comes around to a dealer near you, be sure to go and get some saddle time on this thing...
PS... It does not like to be slid. At the point where the rear tire shouldbreak loose and allow for a sideways, crossed-up corner exit.... The traction control takes over and cuts power.![]()

Can-am...quebecers invented. That's cool looking and all...but I think I prefer to stick to two wheels...of course I haven't tried one, who knows.

I don't know if I would ever buy one
but they look fun as hell to test-ride/drive
I don't really have any desire to own one... But it sure was fun to romp on my BRP rep's demo...

i think i would just take it for a spin just to say that i have. i was talking to a mech at my local dealer who has them, says their def not worth the money if your looking for performance. who wants traction control anyways? if im spending that kind of money, T-Rex all the way

might test ride one tomorrow. wonder if i can figure out how to over ride the T/C.... had a buddy take a long test ride and he said it was pretty cool.
It's a cool looking machine...I just think it would handle weird with 2 wheels in the front and one in the back.

I've got a 2000 or 2001 (can't remember) R6 that I took on trade earlier this year. Second gear is wasted, so it needs some love. We were gonna fix the transmission and then sell it, but we havn't touched it yet. We might just be willing to blow it out the way it is if you want to provide it with said love.

I sat on one before. It felt wierd not having a brake lever. These have a foot brake pedal and I think all 3 wheels brake at once.
