I'm so overdue. All my shit is broken. And that's a lot of broken shit.
I started riding last week. 01Apr has been the day to get the bike out of winter storage for three years in a row now.

Already have 220 miles on the DR in 3 days of riding this season!
I got out for the first time this year last weekend too. Still a bit too cold in the morning for me to ride to work, but a weekend joyride is in. I also plan to go out today for another joyride. I've been getting my bike ready for the previous 3 weekends though(had a decent amount of maintenance to do).
Hellllllllll yes, I'm ALIVE again!!!!!!
Plenty of bikes up in NH seacoast. Looking forward to 2015 riding season.
I too got out for my first ride today. Short little stint but it felt good.
Finished the valve job on the DL. Slapped her back together and went for a rip around the block. Plan to commute tomorrow.
Dear lord this thing needs to be washed! Looks like something viola would ride right now.
Broke in the new rear tire today. Way too long of a stretch for me. The back yard finally was firm enough after this weekends warmth to support the Hawk and not need a dirt bike to traverse the underlying mud

60 miles yesterday, and after a couple high speed deceleration tests on a seemingly abandoned parkway, I took the highway home! Loving the bike at speed. Saw a car-fire on the opposite side (93 northbound just north of Medford) with fire trucks a dousing and many people rubbernecking. Beautiful day overall, even had time after riding to clean up the yard.
Got out on the Wee yesterday, first time of the season. Headed north and took random roads. 3 hours later came home and dug a ditch with the backhoe. It was a good day.

Did some basic start-of-season stuff to the SV at the end of last week (battery, oil/filter change, tire pressures, wipe down, chain inspection, switches/lights/horn check) and FINALLY got it out on the road on Sunday evening.
Almost immediately made two stupid mistakes: forgot to buckle my helmet (!!!, fixed at the end of my block) and pulled away from a gas station with the side-stand down (!!!, solved by Jedi force trick / extreme ass puckering during a left turn). 18 years on a bike and still capable of that nonsense due to eagerness: will use literal checklists next year.
Yesterday's ride to work was glorious. The M4 exhaust that Chip put on this thing is a Cthulu-raising howler.

RE: eager to ride
Today was my first ride of the season and I too was a bit eager to go. The vague handling on the highway reminded me I hadn't swapped the worn tires for the new Q3's sitting in the basement. Not like I had all winter to do it.
