A win is a win, but I wouldn't RELISH a win handed to me by someone that made a dumb mistake as I would if I earned it outright.
In fact, I got my first LRRS win kinda like that... was in 2nd place and the guy in 1st (way out front) tucked the front in 11. I saw him on the ground but didn't realize it was the race leader so I didn't even realize that I won till well into the cooldown lap when I noticed no one was in front of me. Was glad I won & it was super cool to get that trophy but I wasn't jumping up n down.

I pretty much agree. I'm relishing with her at the moment. I've watched it like 6 times and counting. And still chuckling.

Am I the only one who felt bad for Ms. Rutledge? Something tells me that she will redeem herself. Soon.
The girl that won did it fair and square, AND worked for it. She was right behind Rutledge. All she needed was Rutledge to give her an opening. Well, Rutledge gave her one. A huge one. I think her celebrations were fine and deserved. Even had Rutledge come back from her little oops without offing, I think the other girl would have taken her at that point.
how is she not physically hurt??
I got hurt, and I'm pretty sure there's permanent damage to my knees for this!
(bike kept coming up...I fell backwards...and this was only an XR100!)

I actually felt bad for her, and the celebration was way over the top at the end. Yes she did race just as hard, but Rutledge was clearly the stronger rider and had a whoops moment. Take the win, but take it with some dignity.
