Never have, never will - that's f*ckin stupid
Never have, but would if I thought I'd definitely get away
Have once (got away), won't do it again
Several times, will do it again if I think I can def. get away
Once/several times, got caught, learned my lesson
Bemused*
yeah, i'll like to add that i would never consider running again.
funny story: i was once out on a group ride with a bunch of sport bikes, and 1 friend tagging along on his 883. we played musical bike after a stop and some how i ended up on the sportster. a few miles later we fly by a cop. all the sport bikes take of. including my buddy, ON MY BIKE. leaving me all alone with his bike that tops out only slightly faster than frozen dirt. i figured fuck it and just waited for the cop to come get me. as i start to pull over he flys past me in pursuit of the sport bikes. i flipped a u turn after he went by and hauled ass back to base. my bike and buddy arrived safely 15 minutes later.
i wouldnt say ive "ran" per say...but ive all of the sudden realized my turn is coming up..followed by another...then another and then maybe backtrack a little...
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

I remember blasting by a cop sittin on the side of the highway on my way to a group ride... I wasn't doin triple digits, but it was close... So I pulled over, called Oxx, told him I'd be late cuz I'm about to get a ticket but the cop never came after me so I got back on & kept going.
Is that running?![]()

I passsed a cop one time going the opposite way doing 45 in a 30. He turned on his lights and I pulled over and waited for him to turn around. He gave me a ticket. <------ True story.
You suck at life. Why don't you quit?

No I'd never run but you ever think of some things you would do if you had 24 hours to live? It would be pretty exhilerating.

I ran once a long time ago, had a few beers in me (young and stupid) dumped going through a corner and there was another cop sitting right there in a parking lot.. I was completely busted until they got a more important call. I can still hear the cops words as he handed me my licence and asked if I wanted an ambulance. Slow down before you kill yourself or worse, someone else.. Lesson learned... DONT DO IT !
bump for 120mph runner chit talk room. im not surprise at 2nd and 3rd place poll.
hell if definitely know... like when sometimes we know the road isn't patrol and we all hit that 3 digit numbers. i would consider that running and get away. so fuck we run all the time. when we do group ride, we're running at spirited speed, yep.

"fuckit!"
That's amusing...especially since it reminds me of a story I recently heard from my brother.
Three guys he knows were riding near the beach; I think it was in York, Maine, but I could be wrong. None of the three have M endorsements, all have been riding for years. They get on the highway briefly and moron-friend decides that popping a wheelie or two in 4th of July traffic is a good idea. They note a cop going the other way and decide to take the next exit, with the intent of parking the bikes ASAP (see "realizations" above). Before they can park 'em, another cop pulls up behind the three of them. He doesn't even hit his blues yet and moron-friend downshifts and starts splitting traffic at speed, leaving the other two (one on an R1, the other on a chopper) to make the split-second decision.
They stopped and were rewarded with impounded bikes and riding without a license (or whatever the exact Maine charge is). The jackass who got them busted managed to evade and get home.
Me, personally? I ride a 250 and I'm a newbie. Unless it's a pedal-bike cop, there's no way I'm outrunning him, so it makes the decision to stop really easy.
too bad you dont have a "get no tickets" card.
you guys realize this is a public forum and telling stories about what roads you were on and admitting to the speaks is pretty brainless? you say you wont run again, but that doesnt mean any law enforcement could see your story, location, and bike, and keep an eye on you when riding the streets.
Actually have run 3 times
2 times made the paper
once with 5 cars "IN HOT PURSUIT!"
Would not do it now

I have never run, never will. if I blow by a cop I look to see if he pulls out after me, surprisingly most of the time they don't but if they do I pull over and wait.

I have never run. If I fly past a cop I will sometimes just take the next exit or side street before they take off after me. But once the lights come on I just pull over.

I got pulled over a couple weeks ago for doing 42 in a 25, I didn't even realize I was going that fast. Cop was parked on a side street doing a speed trap and waved me over. "You barely gave me enough time to get the gun out! License and registration please." I thought I was going to be fucked. He calls it in and starts writing in his ticket book. He comes back to me hands me a piece of paper and my stuff back and says "I'm only going to give you a warning, but I do have one question for you. Why did you stop? I wasn't even in my car and it wasn't running, there is no way I could have caught you." He even wrote the warning out for 35 in a 25 instead of the 42.
