It seemed like I had forever to get started on bike projects, but man, time flies! Picked up the loot from Duncanmoto on Saturday, transformed the extra room into a cozy stable for the R6, popped her up on stands and started the almost-spring-bike-build. Somehow my list of things to do keeps getting longer, as I find more and more things that need replacing...
*Note to self, spend less time making the room purrrty and more time wrenching.
I just need some of those cool motorcycle wall decals, and some Ben Spies posters and I'll be all set...

You're right... she's not a dog, she's demonic spawn covered in hair, part alien part devil.... the bane of my existence. I should've stuck with big dawgz.
Welllll..... if you wanted to stop by at some point... there's something with the clutch return we're not sure is right.... And at some point I should get that clutch from ya if you still have it
Also... are you a good cook? How about cleaning?![]()

Bike build? I thought I was gonna see a bare frame, metal fabrication, paint booth...
all I see are some blinkers, chain and sprocket.

That's right... we're just putting on some pink accents 'cause I'm a girl and putting it all back together jackass
How about chain and sprockets to 520, redoing all the electrical which is jacked including mounting all new turns/marker lights/license plate light, new brake pads, all new brake lines, new clutch cable, fixing the screwed up throttle return and both cables, putting in some 0 rings to fix the coolant leak, new air filter, oil change and filter, carbs/with or without jet kit, aftermarket air filter, rearsets, steering damper, checking wheel bearings, fixing the clip ons/new grips and bar ends, installing the speedo healer for the gearing change, possibly replacing the clutch, and all new hardware for the bike... as previous owners used half rusted phillips head screws on everything.
We bought a couple cheap boot mats, did the lines last night and just took the brake res off and vacuumed out most of the fluid before pulling the lines+calipers off in one shot. Of course the new lines didn't come with new banjo bolts and we didn't want use the old ones so waiting on parts again.....
you probably already know this but some speed bleeders and a master cylinder banjo bolt with integrated bleeder is sweet. http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/produc...r3_43963462_go
Ted should be able to get all that stuff for you.

i was referring to these: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...word=floor+mat. i got a pack for my bike, and it's just enough space. degsy has a set in his garage & got me in the habit of using the mat before working on a bike. ended up getting a pack for myself for working on my bike.
A weekend?
If you take your time.
One day of work. Or two nights if you have a helper.
Good luck, I wish my 750 was that close to being ready to roll.
