was he a stoneham resident his whole life? there's a kid from Reading who's name is Mike Lecesse that I went to middle/some high school with and then he moved, i think... didn't know he rides, but he's the type of kid who it wouldn't surprise me if he did.
either way, RIP and condolences to friends and family. hope the Big Racetrack in the Sky has some decent twisties...

Sorry for your loss. RIP
"An accident reconstruction crew and members of the Northeast Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council (NEMLEC) found a helmet, which included a face shield, in a grassy area where the victim landed after being ejected. A fire crew from Stoneham also was dispatched to the scene.
According to the accident report and witnesses, Leccese was driving east on Prospect Street when he came into contact with an SUV that witnesses said was turning from High Street onto Prospect Street westbound. A second motor vehicle, a Cadillac traveling west on Prospect Street, became involved when the driver was unable to keep clear of the collision. Witnesses said the female driver of the SUV performed CPR.
Drivers of the motor vehicles involved in the accident went to the police station to give their statements. Neither have been charged with any motor vehicle violations and their names have not been released.
“This is an open and active investigation,” said Executive Officer Lt. John MacKay. “One vehicle is being held at the police station and the district attorney’s office has been notified. The investigation will be ongoing until we can determine the cause of the accident.”
This was the fourth fatal motor vehicle accident in town since April 14."
this was from an article from the Wakefield Daily Item. Basically a woman in an SUV didn't see him, hit him, and then he was ran over by a second car.
this literally has been the worst start to the motorcycle season I've ever heard of...rest in peace mikey...we all love you and miss you <3

Sucks to read. Not good that his helmet came off. I know a lot of people don't take the time to tighten the strap...tighten 'em up people and watch the intersections.
one of the woman i work with is a friend of the family and is attending the wake tonight. Apprently the first car blew thru a stop sign....very sad
RIP
Damn, something about this year, there have been a lot of bikes wiped out down in Northern Virginia as well as up here since the season got rolling. Our season is longer in Virginia, and presumably there are more bikes, and as a percentage of vehicles, maybe bikes in accidents aren't any more involved than cars, but it feels like they are this year.
RIP, young man. From what I read here, he'll be missed even by the peeps that didn't know him. You guys/gals are ok..
