    Safe-T-Ramp

DucDave asked if I would post some info on the ramp that I use on my truck. I don't have any photos on my truck but here's the website of the company I purchased the ramp from:

Truck Motorcycle Safe-T-Ramp From Discount Ramps.Com

I purchased the ramp last spring and it was one of the first units ordered. Upon installing the ramp it just didn't seem to fit right. A call to Discount Ramps.com was all that was needed to find out that they had sent out a larger truck coupler rather than one that fit my Tacoma. Discount Ramps.com contacted the makers of the ramp and found that I needed a smaller coupler and within 2 days I had a new coupler that fit perfectly. It was one of the best customer service experiences that I've had. I'd highly recommend both the Safe-T-Ramp as well as Discount Ramps.com.

The best thing about the ramp is that once you get it on the truck, you only need one person to do the loading/unloading. I like that there is no weight on the tail gate....all the support is in the hitch. A very cool design for sure!

They came out with the aluminum version soon after I purchased mine. If I had to do it over again, I'd go with that instead. The steel one I have is freakin' heavy and takes two people to get it into the coupler at the hitch. But as I mentioned above, once it's on the truck it's awesome.

I dunno if I'm so keen on that design... with a 3500lb tow rating, your hitch is only supposed to see 350lbs MAX tounge weight...

Nice. Wish they had that one when I bought mine from them. I got the Black widow, Very happy with it. But I think I would have liked that one better.
