Both the CBR 1100xx and I suspect the CBR 600 are a scam.
Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2467455068
Ad states 1999, its a 2002 by the VIN given (tenth character is a "2" for 2002) and the dash photo (Not shown in the ad) Which the ad states 17,200 miles but the photo has ~206.
Right click on the photos and choose "Properties."

folow the link.
then just type in http://pozevere.us/
Read the other photos including Harleys and the CBR 600..
here's the Proof.
Ebay ad has no #7 photo, its the dash with the true milage of the photoed 2002 bike.

Plus the street signs are UK.

Suf Daddy.
I do believe that you have far too much time on your hands. thanks for the heads-up though
looks like Ebay took your or someone elses comments... its gone.
2001 RC51!!!
2007 Husky SMR 510 - no longer... blown tranny
Why on earth would someone try to sell a 2 year old bike with low mileage as a 5 year bike with high mileage?

Repay his debt to society?![]()
I actually wanted to keep it up so I could bid $60,000 right at the auctions end.
Either way, I was just putting out the word...
I suspect the moderator / web master at cbr1100xx.com did the Ebay complaint that got the ad pulled.....
His work not mine............
I just didn't want anyone to bid on the 600, but I couldn't find the 600 on Ebay, just the BlackBird.......................
I have a copy of the Ebay ad and the photos if anyone is REALLY interested..............................
I clearly feel that some Euro trash was pulling ANOTHER scam as we see this once every two months or so.............
Any new (2 year old bike) for a major discount like $3000-7000 is the common theme of these guys. Private auction, something in the ad won't match..............copy of manufacturers specs on a bike.................etc............
The SIMPLE one's to spot are newly listed sellers........................... BUT the best ones are the Ebay names stolen so they have a history and good feed back.
Usually, someone who hasn't used their account in a while is a target...................
I think I find old ladies who sold books, curtains, and doylies then all of a sudden instead of selling $5 mechanidise they're hawkin $10,000 street rockets..............................
ALWAYS european street signs in the background of the photo.
Some of the VT guys I know find bogus bikes listed in "Texas" and the like..................................
