holy schmokes batman! I'm about to spend over double that on one... Of course with an online vendor there's no way of knowing how old it is, more of an issue for racers who are not likely to crash in the near future than the typical consumer. Eh.

700/1000. 1000 is no doubt a nice helmet, but I my 700. Know a few people a lot more experienced than me that race them as well.

The pattern is a newer pattern so it can't be that old.

I am close to getting the 700, but i like the features of the 1000 a little better. i hate changing screens and i hate wearing sunglasses in the helmet and this is one of my main reasons for the upgrade.

yeah its also heavier and a little bigger than the 700's though, but to each there own. www.Newenough.com also is having a close out on some of them right now for about the same.

Don't over think it, 108 is a great price for a 225 dollar helmet that rivals much more expensive ones. Plus having all that extra plastic between the shell and your head might not be the best idea. I picked up a small one for either the kids or so the wife can have an extra.

I got one of the 700's and I LOVE IT. can't believe i wore that shitty g-max for so long!!

next year the girl will get the 700 and i'll pick up something else, but WOW what a difference!

It's either the Shark or an Arai next!! not till next year though. have to get boots and pair of pants and back protector so i can get my skinny ass on the track for a track day with Boston Moto

You can get the Sharks on ebay from the place i got em from for half off, its def worth it. Only Con is the field of vision.

Its more narrow, its technically a racing helmet. You have to turn your head a bit more when checking lanes.
