Just got the email.
This sucks.A new road.
Dear Moto Market friends,
The past 15 years have been a fun ride, but it is time for me to turn down a different road. So Moto Market will close for good on Sunday September 23. What made this such a fun ride was all of you loyal Moto Market customers and fans. In order to help me kick start my new adventure, I will be having a store-wide clearance sale. Most remaining items will have discounts of 20% or more. Even if there is nothing you need, I hope you can stop by anyway and say hello. Never Stop Living.
Happy riding,
Paul Conley

Sucks bad. I wishn Paul the best for the future.
Sigh. Just sent Paul a best wishes email. His place was a great destination, as well as gear source. Moto Mkt will be missed.

have to make the trip
losing a great resource in the community. damn.
Major bummer.
I didn't get there often, but bought two Arai's and a bunch of other stuff over the years.
Paul was always terrific, I wish him the best.
Not pointing the finger at anyone. But g'head & just keep using online shops. Unfortunate byproduct of today's methods of shopping. Myself sadly included...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Well, fuck.
Paul's a good dude. He and Allan always took really good care of me and I was always happy to give them my business instead of the online shops. It was also always nice to roll down there on any given Thursday night and find a friendly collection of miscreants (i keed, I keed) pawing whatever the new hot machine was... chicken strips an all.
Sucks for me, but I wish Paul absolutely nothing but the best.
Way out of my neighborhood but it sucks non the less to lose a quality shop.
The older I get the Faster I wuz
It does suck but what's the "new venture" I'm IN!
I can't say I've ever bought anything from him that I wasn't satisfied with. He sold top quality products with top quality service and I wish him the best.
Not only that, but I don't think I'd be the crazy 3 1/2 season, rain or shine rider if it wasn't for him. I've met some of the coolest people in the parking lot outside, including quite a few NESRians (Kenn157, Talus, sveesix, RandyO, TLRMan, etc).
Paul set me on the right road on my return to motorycling. Someone told me about his shop and I showed up one day on my FJ1200 asking to be educated. And he did. Later, I did my first track day with MotorMarket and that sent me in a direction I'd never have imagined. I bought a fair amount of stuff from Paul and he always made me feel like my business was important yet never made me feel like I had to buy something I didn't need. I have no idea what his next gig will be but it would surprise me if it were more than a degree of separation from motorcyleing...
All the best Paul...and thanks for everything.

Bought All my Dainese except one jacket and at least a half dozen pairs of gloves from there when I lived in Nashua. Over half my gear comes from there. Prices were fair and the education was top notch.
My favorite rides were cold ones and warming up with coffee and sweets listening to the bench racing and bullshit from the hangouts. First ride in the spring was always there.
Good luck Paul!
If loud pipes save lives, imagine what learning to ride would do.
I have so many fond memories of Paul and Moto Market. My first time there I dropped my Hawk GT in the parking lot - I think I had been riding about 2 weeks.I went on my first group ride with the crew from Moto Market and did my first track day with them. Over the years we had lots of laughs. I'm happy to call him my friend and wish him all the best in his next adventure.
the only normal people are the ones you don't know very well.

What ever road you are taking in life may it bring a enternal smile and never ending adventure for you. Moto Market will be Missed.![]()
I loved riding up there years ago and just shooting the shit on Euro Thursdays. Even without a european bike, I would show up with my GSX-R and was always welcomed by every rider there: young, old, male, female. Not a single judgemental prick, and that was the environment I always associated with MotoMarket, welcome to all and friends with everybody.
One of my coolest memories of the place was I met up with Joel(l3udda) one evening after work to shoot the shit and hang out as we had just picked up our 675's recently. Paul was closing shop soon, and while talking asked what we were up to. We said just riding around, etc. His response was something along the lines of "alright I'll grab my gear, lets go."
Well, crap.

Good luck Paul.

Terrible news, we've all been so fortunate to have that place. Will leave a huge hole.

Don't know Paul but this is a very warm thread towards him and I as well wish him the best to whatever it is that he is doing.
As one of the younger in the track community I am guilty of buying 90% of my stuff online. Unfortunately my experience with most stores around here has been pretty bad as far as service and quality and usually online pricing is unbeatable for a respectable level. I wish I was better financially to not care for $50 difference etc... I feel kind of a hypocrite but we all should make a small turn towards local. At least I support the photographers and vendors at the track as much as I can
