Went for a rip last night after work between the raindrops.
From Vermont I hit Rt12 to the 123 into the town of Alstead.
Picked up the 123a to Marlow Junction and left onto Rt10.
South on 10 to Marlow the back home along the 123 west to Alstead.
The 123a is the road I was interested in the most. I don't think you can travel more than 100 yards in a straight line as it is but lefts and rights for about 12 miles. Smooth, about a 5.5/10. No traffic 'cept for two RX-8's.
You can get a soda or ice cream(commercial) in Marlow and makes for a nice break. My old bike still brings a smile to my face but old suspension engineering has my lower back a bit stiff today.
The ride from start to finish is short but entertaining. Some sand that has been washed from driveways not in critical spots but I am getting used to looking for that as well as for deer and moose.
Cheers.
