So you rip your sportbike seat, do you get a used one or try to get it recovered?
Anyone have one recovered one before? It isn't a straightforward single piece, it has a seam around the back and wraps under. What kinda cost we talkin about?
There is one mediocre seat on ebay for $100...
You can buy a new Sargent seat cover for about $80. You can customize it too.

recover. I've done a few myself and haven't been too hard. Get a factory seat cover or one fitted to that bike. A generic one fits all will not look so good or be so easy. OR spend the $ and get it recovered. Most area's have someone that can do it.
Recover. Depending on how fancy you want / need it to be you can get a "special" fitted cover or just get some pleather an do it yourself (mostly, may vary with how complicated your seat is).
Re-cover it yourself. I did mine and it cost me about $12 in materials. Provided you have a heavy duty staple gun its fairly simple.

My buddy is making a seat cover for my bike right now. I'll post pics when I get it back.
