ski doo makes a great sled! i have more ski doo's than yammies. if they had a 150+ hp motor that could live for more than a year under my thumb i'd have one for my go fast sled.

FNG bring your old pos sleds to woodford and see if you can hang.

you never know you might even be able to keep up with the slow group.

Ur a Funny guy....since almost every sled at the Grass Drags was either a ZX chasis or another form of DOO....hmmmm maybee 10 Yamahahahahah's if that..WHY????

I skied today, but that doesn't mean I'm putting the bike away for the season just.

I'm hoping to get at least a couple more good rides in (and then, between going to a six-days-a-week work schedule and weather, I won't have time).

Looks like a good start to the season. If we can just keep
those deadly warm rain days away.

Pretty good amount of terrain open, although the subsurface is decidedly firm at this point (so it's been getting pretty slick in a lot of spots by the end of the day). We've got fresh snow coming down right now, though, and the stuff with fresh manmade or a little less skier traffic has been skiing pretty darn well.

But yeah, avoiding thaw/freeze cycles would be helpful.

Im also of the mindset that the newer 'rider forward' chassis are FAR superior. I like the rev, the IQ and the new Yamaha chassis' and would not ride an older sled. To me the old zx and edge chassis' are like riding an 84 Honda V65....yeah the Honda is fast, but it handels like shit and is heavy as hell.

And about the sleds at the grass drags.....did you really say that? Those sleds dont turn man.

I have zero interest in drag racing across a lake. Thats how you die. Guys from Seabrook love that crap.

I wanna carve the twisty trails, and in that arena there isnt a zx or edge chasis that can hope to keep a new Yamaha or REV or IQ chassis in sight. There just isnt. Ive seen it happen so many times....

Now, having said that, the ZX chassis is still a good sled, youre out there riding, right? Thats really all that matters. (just dont go around touting your sled as the best and calling guys 'a joke' cause your sled would get dusted almost anywhere)
