You sir are my hero, always wanted to strap my board to my bike.
I was stopped at Munces 2 years ago and saw an older cruiser / standard bike go by. The guy had built a wooden platform on the back, like a pickup truck bed but no sides. On it he mounted a bike rack and on that rack was his mtn bike.

On the interstate I could feel some lifting in the back and front depending on how the wind hit it which made it odd cause I didn't know if I should lean back or forward - didn't know which way the wind would blow next. On the back roads, I only ride the interstate for about 15-20 miles, it was fine. Total bike miles yesterday with the board was about 92 so this wasn't a down the street ride. I'm 40 miles interstate from work and I took backroads + the trip to the hill.
The boots are hiking/pac boots, good to -120*. They aren't the best to board in but I wasn't gonna try to shift with the snowboard boots on. The kids got a kick outta it...

I didn't think you had board boots on but almost asked how the hell you would be able to shift in them. You'd probably not be able to. Not with my board boots anyhow.
Now to angle the board so it works as a spoiler
if there's something at the top of the list of things to not strap directly behind my spine while i ride my motorcycle just in case of an accident, one would think that a 5' wide blade would be one of them...
