Saw this come up on the LRRS facebook page. Craziness. Town wants to outlaw motorized vehicles on private property.

I tried something similar about 20 years ago. Town got me to stop with noise violations even though I had no neighbor's. They just set up a sound meter at the edge of the track and that was that. I moved shortly afterwards and now I am free to do whatever on my land
strap a lawn mower blade to the bottom of the bike
Officer: what are you doing??
Rider: Property maintenance
Which brings up the question, what about a gator? Property maintenance or terrain abusing noise producing death machine??

This isn't necessarily new. CT has had a law/laws on the books for at least a few years that allowed towns to ban people from riding OHRV on their own private property. I don't have time right this second to look up the history or links to it, but I remember it being discussed a few years ago.
Every time I start to think about moving back to MA or CT, it's stuff like this that reminds me how much I love where I am.
I do hope electrification of OHRV/dirtbikes will help to get more areas opened back up or keep the ones that we have, but it doesn't solve the issues with DES regarding erosion, wetlands, etc.

CT has always been a pain whether not allowing kids under a certain age to race a few years ago or starting later on a sunday.
