    Wink Squid sighting

    Mystery Squid that is...

    Got out of work last friday, ready to head to Vermont. Got on the highway and had to slam on the brakes coming off the on ramp to avoid crashing into the 5mph traffic jam. Lovely.

    I pull over after only 2 miles and decide to get some food and wait it out.

    Walking in there is a bike... wait a minute, that plate looks familiar. Nice to run into someone I know out there.



    And actually, he wasn't looking that squidly, what with all the bugs on his jacket and all. Any self respecting squid would clean the bugs off his jacket!

    How do you guys tell an NESR rider from the multitudes of squids out there????
    I know I'm new, but is there some distinguishing feature I should be looking for to identify with NESR members????

    In my case I'm a big fat sloppy guy riding a bright green bike wearing a tattered and stained grey 'stich. How many guys like that can there be? I also happen to get around and do 100+ miles per day, every weekday.

    In this case I believe Mr. E has a vanity plate on his bike that would point him out as the Masta Squid....

    However ya never know where you'll meet an NESR member... just yesterday I attended a wedding in RI and ended up eating dinner with Cam22... it was figured out through talking about bikes who's who... Small world out there!!!
