At low RPM's ( basically under 40mph) when the throttle is steady the bike still jerks a lot. Its not smooth at all.
I'm thinking its the map on the PCIII ?
Its an 07 CBR1000RR
Possibly, but look to synchronizing the throttle bodies first.

Pull in the clutch and make sure it's not undulations in the pavement.
Have you checked your chains slack? Too much will do that too.
With 740 posts and being here 3 years, I would assume the guy knows the difference between bad pavement, a loose chain, and a throttle that isn't responding well. I'd at least give him the benefit of the doubt.
Degsy?

Eh, Degsy just talks funny, doesn't make a bike do that. I would look elsewhere.
TPS adjustment is my bet.

Degsy knows those kind of bikes really well and is good at analyzing issues like that and fixing them. If he's not available or too far away, perhaps he can recommend someone else. Yes, it could well be the throttle position sensor, or perhaps a dirty fuel filter, clogged air filter, poorly adjusted valves, throttle bodies out of synch, any number of things.

Fair enough, however I disagree entirely with your assumption that a high post count equals bike knowledge. There are plenty of people on here with hight post counts that dont touch anything on their bikes.
Also I can reccomend to check the easy stupid stuff alot more than saying take your bike to a dyno and spend hundreds of dollars getting it tuned which may not fix your problem.
I did NOT suggest anything about spending big bucks on a dyno tune. No idea where you got that impression, so I'm sorry if I wasn't clear.

Synch the TB's and get a custom map on the dyno. It will be sweet....
first thing i would do would be to throw some seafoam injector cleaner through it..
and go beat on it for a tank of fuel

You've probably already checked this, but a very worn chain can cause the symptoms you describe. If the chain has uneven wear, some sections will be quite a bit longer for a given number of links than other sections. I had a Regina chain do that a couple of years ago and it felt just awful at low speeds, felt like surging.
Oh, btw.. if it happens around 5500 rpm, there's not a lot you can do about it. that is the transition from lower injectors to both banks of injectors.. they all do it, and there's no known fix (last I knew)
