STOLEN BIKE IN QUINCY, MA!! BE CAREFUL!!

Just had my 2012 Yamaha R6 stolen out of my driveway. At least 3 guys were casing the neighborhood and came and took it. This happened in Quincy, MA on June 16 at around midnight. Be careful with your bikes! Pretty bummed out as I've only had it for almost a year. Hoping the police turn up something.

If you guys notice a black R6 with the right side scratched up (I had a bit of a fall that took me out of riding for a bit and didn't finish the repairs) that will be mine. Appreciate the lookout.

Most bikes end up at chop shops.
Post some pics or at least tell us what color and what tires you had. Any aftermarket parts? I do daily CL, offerup, facebook scrapes and I'll keep an eye for R6 parts that match.

Thanks for keeping an eye out. I'm new to this forum so I don't know much about posting photos any whatnot but it's a black trim 2012 R6. As for the tires, the guy I got it from didn't go into much specifics so I had to gradually look up some of the parts that were added on over the year. As for Aftermarket parts, it has Oury Handlebar grips, RAM mount, black tinted windshield, and Carbon Fiber Shogun Motorsports frame sliders.

Sorry about your bike, penumbra. Hopefully your insurance will base your payout on today's super-inflated used R6 market.
