First post here... of course it's a negative one. My baby, '08 Yamaha WR250X, just passed 1000 miles, was stolen from my garage (located behind my house) this weekend. They had to have scoped out the place to notice I had a bike at all, and to drag it all the way down the driveway... well, they were determined.
It looked something like this -- http://hphotos-snc1.fbcdn.net/hs154...._7209423_n.jpg (or stock photo: http://www.bikez.com/pictures/yamaha...-%20Yamaha.jpg )
Keep a lookout, will ya, nestreetriders?
Any tips on hunting my baby down?
Damn man. Sorry to hear that. Do you have a door on that garage?
Eyes are open.

Sorry to hear about that. Someone offered me a stolen bike years ago when I did not have the bucks for a new one. I told them never dude as they may steal mine next. You were probably a victum of a specific snatch for a specific customer someone who knows the exact bike he wants. That is how that dude worked a long time ago.
Best advise is to post pic's of it all over the place and hope for a response. Hope it was insured? I put theft on my bike now even without collision.

most of the time i leave the key in my bike without locking the door. I figure someone deserves to take it if they want to navigate through the laser grid, and answer the trolls riddles three.
but seriously, welcome and sorry bout your baby.
Not to be a Dick.....but its probably in the Somerville Projects under a cover. Go take a ride thru there.....I have seen many of bikes dissapear in there....many
I'll keep my eyes peeled in Plainville

Somerville Police are a joke - when I lived there my car got broken in to - We'll send a car over 1 hr. later - jump in the back, We'll look for them - I told them FU. 1 hr. to get here the people are in Maine by now no thank for your help. Best thing to do is post at local dealers & VIN # to police as well.
Sorry to hear. I lock up all my toys - with two to three different lock & my bike 500+ lbs. as well - I even had it lashed to a tree before - now it gets pissed on by all the local male dogs.
