    YES!

Never used it on the track (yet, doing my forst track day in September), but I noticed a definite difference using it on the street and definitely in the twisties.

    Re: Stompgrip

it seems to depend upon the rider. Some people love it and swear by it, others dont. Personally, it hinders me more than helps because of the way i move on the bike it sticks me in one spot sometimes. Best thing I could say is try it and see what you think.

    Re: Stompgrip

It helps me when I squeeze my tank to hold myself braking into a turn and when I'm driving out of a corner, I'll eventually squeeze the tank again so I can loosen up my arms for a more stable drive.

    Re: Stompgrip

stompgrip is not a must have item, but it is a nice purchase. It helps with fatuge because you are able to grip onto the tank so much easier under braking and corner. I have it on my race bike, but don't have it on the Ducati, and I do feel alittle more worn out after a session on the Duc, compared to the RR.

I use Tech Spec Snake Skin just cuz I have to also commute to work
on my bike as well. And they seemed to look a bit more
    user friendly for normal pants...

    Re: Stompgrip

I've had it and do not prefer it. I do think it would depend on the shape of your tank though and your personal preference.
You can always take it off with a hairdryer if you don't like it.

If you want to try it I have a new Stomp Grip universal kit here for $20 cash.
You know where I am. ;-)

my friend, BB675VT has one variation of them on his daytona 675 and loves them.

his are like a solid black rubber padd with a cross hatched tread pattern on them. He said it will rip the hair off your legs it helps you grip so much.

    Re: Stompgrip

Would never ride another sport bike without them.

Incredible grip for stopping, turning and hanging off.

I can see why people in jeans would not like them, I wear gear all the time and would not have it any other way.

    Techspec ftw:

    TechSpec-usa Motorcycle Gripster Tank Grips

I find the clear Stomp grips look kinda odd on a bike, they don't blend in at all. They remind me of those clear shower mats some hotels use to prevent people from slipping. The techspecs, though black, usually add a nice element to the bike. I've also heard they are more comfortable if you wear jeans.

    Re: Stompgrip

I have it on my new tank, and also on the tank that is to become my back up tank... really helped me under braking (enough to break of the plastic tank side panels in the middle of the track twice... ) and while hanging off.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I think it might help me a lot partially because I am pretty short as well.

I have them. Great on the track, and they never bothered me on the street, even while wearing jeans. Aside from obviously keeping you stuck while hanging off, they help keep you in place under hard acceleration/braking

My buddy at work just got these for his daytona 675 and insisted they are a must for that skinny tank. I have been meaning to take it for another spin and see how it helps out, I have no experience with em personally though.

I have stomp grip on my EX, and on my 636 and I love it. Helps under hard braking, and for the street bike helped keep my nuts from smothering themselves against the tank.

    Re: Stompgrip

I'm going to put a set on my track bike. It should make a huge difference since I have a hard time holding on to the tank. I'm anxious to try it out.

No-go on the 1000 though... "Form Before Function"... I'm not sticking hundreds of plastic nipples to the tank of that bike...

Hairdryer and a little sticker off (Goo gone). Not a big deal as long as you have a good paint job.
